The Health Bus is designed to take health care to the people and is staffed with Nurse Practitioners and Paramedics. People can drop-in, with no appointments necessary. Some of the more common services provided are:

Community paramedicine is a new and evolving model of community-based health care in which paramedics function outside their customary emergency response and transport roles. In this way they facilitate more appropriate use of health care resources and enhance access to primary care for medically underserved populations.
